SIDHU MOOSEWALA MURDER

Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unknown assailants in Jawaharke village in the Mansa district on May 29, 2022.

Congress leader and well-known Punjabi rapper-singer Sidhu Moosewala was killed on Sunday during a shooting incident in the Punjab's Mansa district, following one day that his security protection was taken away from government officials under the Bhagwant Mann government of the state. A viral video circulated on social media, showing the bullet-damaged SUV Moose Wala and his associates were traveling in when unidentified suspects fired.

The video which circulated is disturbing and shows a damaged windshield brimming with bullet holes broken glass, as well as the singer-rapper covered in blood on his clothes due to his wounds, and in an unconscious state. The windows are smashed and the seats are covered in blood. A number of people are visible all around him, examining for his pulse, and trying to lift them out of his car to take towards the nearest hospital. Two other people including the driver were also injured during the incident, as the video revealed. The most recent reports suggest that the vehicle was hit with more than 30 bullets. his car. The singer-rapper, 29, was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital in critical situation, but tragically passed away in the process of the treatment. His two co-workers are both critically ill and are likely to be transferred to a bigger hospital to receive treatment.

WHO MURDERED SIDDHU MOOSEWALA?

The cause of SIddhu Moosewala's death appears to be a political or gang related  vendetta and that's why it was only after his removal of security within 24 hours, he was killed with 20 rounds of ammunition.

WHO WAS SIDDHU MOOSEWALA?

Sidhu was born in the town of Moosa in the Mansa district in Punjab, India. He was born into a Sikh family, with his father Bhola Singh, and his Mother Charan Kaur. He was a student at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana and graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2016. He also performed at the DAV College fest. Moose Wala admires and was inspired by the rapper Tupac Shakur. He began listening to hip-hop music in sixth grade and also learned the art of music from Harvinder Bittu, who was from Ludhiana. He was close with his parents, and released two tracks "Dear Mama" and "Bapu". As of the year 2019, Moose Wala resided in Brampton, Canda.

He was famous for his controversial style of lyrical writing, often advocating gun culture and causing harm to the religious beliefs like the situation in relation to Mai Bhago, a revered figure of Sikhism. On May 29, 2022 Moose Wala was shot and then died instantly at Mansa Punjab due to gunshots by armed individuals.
