GUN LAWS IN LAS VEGAS AND NEVADA – EXPLAINED




IS IT LEGAL TO CARRY GUNS IN LAS VEGAS OR NEVADA?

Yes, many types of guns are allowed to be carried in Nevada or Vegas, like handguns, rifles, or any other firearm which has been legalized.  The catch, however, is that you should not have been convicted of any crime or had been legally disqualified from carrying any firearm. Also, it is important to note that you should have a state permit to carry any gun in Las Vegas or Nevada.

 There are many places in Las Vegas and Nevada where guns are prohibited inclusive of:

  1. Schools
  2. Hospitals
  3. Airport and,
  4. Government facilities

Carrying any firearm here will result in revocation of your firearm license, and you may be suspended from getting any license in the future.

WHERE IS THE USE OF FIREARMS ILLEGAL OR UNAUTHORIZED?

Under the second amendment of our constitution, which grants its citizen the right to possess any firearm or guns for lawful purposes including protection of oneself, recreational purposes, hunting, and any other legal activity.

In today's world, the security is very tight, and one cannot easily slip any firearm with him/her because there are metal detectors at the entrance of the buildings, and possession of any gun is strictly prohibited in those areas.
